Rev. Olivia L. Poole-Reneau
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Olivia was raised in the congregation of First United Methodist Church where her family was actively involved and her mother continues to teach Sunday school. She attended Auburn University and received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration before going to Emory University. She received a Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology in May of 2009. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Theology through Duke Divinity School at Duke University.
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys running on the Riverwalk in Phenix City and Columbus, kyaking on the Chatahoochee, and spending time with her husband Steve, their son Grantham, and their three dogs: Emmie, Scout, and Susanna Wesley.
Olivia believes that Mount Zion is called to reach out to the Smiths Station community to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."
Lucas Tribble - Associate Pastor/Youth Director
Lucas serves as our Associate Pastor and Youth Director. Lucas is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is currently attending seminary at Emory University Candler School of Theology and is certified as a Licensed Local Pastor.
Jeannie Boehmler - Chancel Choir Director/Organist
Jeannie grew up at Mount Zion United Methodist church and has participated in the music ministry since childhood. She is a retired counselor for the Phenix City School system. She leads our Chancel Choir and plays the organ. Jeannie loves being able to share her gift of music with the people of God each Sunday morning.
Nikki Bonner - Nursery Coordinator
Nikki has been working as our nursery coordinator for over 20 years. Her love for children and their parents is evident when you walk into the brigtly colored nursery. Nikki provides a safe environment for infants, toddlers, and young children to learn about God's great love.
